The guys on the site are awesome! And at some point or the other they have been there done that so they can provide excellent direction. I agree with Nate and take it to Bernie for a good once over as well as start with the basics of fluid changes and get all of the maintenance items up to date but if you are going straight to a TT swap you might just want to drive it without putting a lot of money into it. Also you might want to start saving money as these cars have a good way of getting into your wallet! Good luck with you build.
